Nexon to Publish Crytek’s Warface in Korea and Taiwan

Nexon and Crytek signed a publishing agreement of online FPS game <Warface> for Korea and Taiwan.

<Warface> is Crytek’s first online game made by CryEngine3, featuring ultimate graphics, AI, physical effect, and other FPS elements.

“It’s pleasure to service FPS expert Crytek’s first online game. With our experience based on diverse online FPS games we have published, we will do our best to provide the best environment for the best game to our customers,” said Min Seo the CEO of Nexon.

“I am so glad to introduce <Warface> to Korea and Taiwan via the best partner Nexon. In combination with Crytek’s high-end technology and in-depth gaming DNA and Nexon’s rich experience in operation, it would bring a revolution to Korea,” said Cevat Yerli the founder and CEO of Crytek.

Dragon Nest Reached 45,000 CCU in Taiwan

Action RPG <Dragon Nest> developed by Eyedentity and published by Gamania in Taiwan has reached CCU 45,000 in 4 days from the release date.

According to the Taiwanese game portal site Gamer.com.tw, <Dragon Nest> is ranked first while <WoW> is ranked second.

“<Dragon Nest> has recorded the highest number of CCU of this year in where lots of games released in a year. We are so glad to introduce the excellence of Korean online game in Taiwan along with Japan and China. Thanks for the support from all the <Dragon Nest> fans,” said EunSang Lee the CEO of Eyedentity Games.

Knight Online Goes to Taiwan

October 8th, 2010

<Knight Online> co-developed by Global game portal Mgame and Noah Systems, is signed for publishing in Taiwan via Gameflier on Oct. 8th.

Gameflier is a subsidiary of local publisher Softworld which publishes mega hit online games like <WOW>, <Ragnarok>, and <Twelve Skies>.

“Recently Taiwanese players like playing PvP more than playing casual games. I believe the war system of <Knight Online> will attract local players,” said CEO of Gameflier.

“<Knight Online> has been a role model to the other games since the beginning of its service thanks to the steady and exciting war system. We will strive to make another heyday in Asia market through this contract,” said SeungHoon Choi the director of global business development of Mgame.

Divine Soul goes to SE Asia.

The action RPG <Divine Soul> developed by GamePrix has signed with RunUp for publishing to Hong Kong, Taiwan, Malaysia, Singapore, and Macao on July 13.

GamePrix has published it to North America and Europe last November as well. They are also looking forward to publish it to Japan, China, and Russia where has shown interest on it.

The CEO of GamePrix Sung-Wan Hong said, “we are so glad to sign a contract before the completion of the game.” and “we will do our best to preoccupy the global market as our goal is converting the 3D supported console action game to online.”

<Divine Soul> is an action online RPG?cooperated?with nVidia to support 3D Vision System and it supports console game pad as well. It kicks off CBT in NA on July 15.
